StaffAccountant,AccountsReceivable&BillingABOUTTHECOMPANYSPGlobalDRTisaleaderinremediationandrestoration,providingbest-in-classservicetohandleemergencyandreconstructionneeds24/7.Ourgoalistohelpminimizetheinterruptiontoyourlifeandquicklymakeit"likeitneverevenhappened."JOBDESCRIPTIONTheStaffAccountant,AccountsReceivable&Billingisresponsiblefortheend-to-endinvoicingcycleacrossthecompany'smarkets.Thisroleownsaccurateandtimelybilling,managesaccountsreceivableandcollections,reconcilesrevenueandARaccounts,andpartnerswithoperationsandclaimsteamstoensureallworkperformedisbilledcompletelyandcorrectly.PRIMARYRESPONSIBILITIESOwnandmanagetheend-to-endinvoicingandrevenuecycleacrossallcompanymarkets.Generate,review,andissueaccurateandtimelycustomerandcarrierinvoices.Monitoraccountsreceivableagingandleadcollectioneffortsonoutstandingbalances.Postandreconcilepaymentsandresolvebillingdiscrepancieswithcustomers,carriers,andinternalteams.Reconcilerevenueandaccountsreceivableaccountsandsupportmonth-endandperiod-endclose.Partnerwithclaims,jobfilecoordination,andprojectteamstoensurebilledworkiscompleteandaccurate.Prepareaccountsreceivableaging,revenue,andcashflowreportsformanagement.Maintainbillingrecords,documentation,andinternalcontrols.Identifyandimplementprocessimprovementstoincreasebillingaccuracyandefficiency.Supportinternalandexternalauditsbyprovidingrequesteddocumentation.POSITIONREQUIREMENTSBachelor'sdegreeinAccounting,Finance,orarelatedfieldrequired.2-4yearsofaccountingexperience,withdirectexposuretoaccountsreceivable,salesinvoicing,orrevenuecyclefunctions.Construction,restoration,fieldservices,orinsurance-claims-basedbillingexperiencestronglypreferred.ProficiencyinMicrosoftExcel;experiencewithNetSuitehighlypreferred.Stronganalytical,organizational,andproblem-solvingskills.Excellentverbalandwrittencommunicationskills.Highattentiontodetailandabilitytomanagemultipleprioritiesanddeadlines.Mustbeabletoworkinperson5daysperweek,withsomeflexibilityinhoursdependingonbusinessneeds(e.g.,month-endclose).MustbeauthorizedtoworklawfullyintheUnitedStatesandabletosuccessfullycompleteabackgroundchecksubjecttoapplicablelaw.PHYSICALDEMANDSPrimarilyoffice-basedworkinaclimate-controlledenvironment.Prolongedperiodsofsittingatadeskandworkingonacomputer.Frequentuseofhandsandfingersfortyping,writing,andhandlingdocuments.Repetitivemotionsincludingkeyboardinganduseofamouse.Frequenttalkingandhearingforphoneandin-personcommunication.Closevisualacuityforreadingdocumentsandviewingcomputerscreens.Occasionalstanding,walking,bending,reaching,andfiling.Occasionalliftingandcarryingoffilesorsuppliesupto25pounds.Abilitytoopenfilingcabinetsandbendorstandonastepstoolasneeded.JobType:Full-Time,upto40hoursperweek.In-OfficeSalary...
